Jingle Bell Wreath

So this week I redid our old worn out wreath.  Before our kids were big enough to really understand what was going on with Christmas, we had an elegant Blue & Silver theme.  Well, we never updated the wreath when we switched over to the multi-colored fun theme we have now.  I bought 2 containers of large jingle bells planning on making a new wreath out of them.  I started stringing them on the wire only to discover I didn't have enough bells.  So we then decided to take all the old blue & silver decorations off the old wreath, and put little bunches of bells on it.  I wish I would have thought to take a before pic.  (I'm talking this thing was 8 years old, and had seen better days)  I love the way it turned out.  Let me know what you think.  (Yet again, I will be so glad when I get a follower so I don't feel like I'm talking to myself.)  If you want to make one yourself, its really easy.  All you do is grab some wire, string 3 bells on a piece of it, & twist to make a bell bunch (make sure you leave a good 2 or 3in tail of wire).  then just start placing the bunches where you think looks nice, and wrap the wire tail around the frame.  Then add a bow & your done.  Easy as Pie.  Hope you enjoy.

Pics

Michelin Onesie

Fall Theme Cupcakes

sorry, it won't turn

These are the pics of the onesie I made from a mans shirt, and the cupcakes for my husband's coworker.  Again, they are taken with my cell phone, so excuse the crapyness. (Is that even a word?)

IDK

Ok, well I have still yet to take a pic of the onesie I made.  And I haven't done much in the past week as far as crafts go.  I have monogrammed 2 bags & my husbands work jacket, plus made some cupcakes for my son's school b-day party, a cake for his actual b-day party, & some cupcakes for one of my husband's coworkers.  So I have been pretty busy I guess.  Oh yeah, & I added some sleeves to one of baby M's onesies so he would have another decent winter shirt.  The boys & I will be working on a faux leaf garland for the Christmas tree this week.  We glittered some real leaves one day, and loved the look.  To bad real leaves dry out and crumble, it sure would make the project a lot easier.  I'll try to take pics of the process and post on here.  I don't really have a camera besides my phone at the moment, so the pics will not be the greatest.  Stay tuned for an update on the garland.

P.S.  Don't you just love how I talk to nobody?  I'm assuming at one point I might actually get a follower.

Trying this again

Well, I know I'm talking to nobody at this point, but I'm going to give this another try.  I probably won't be able to post more than once a week, but its something I want to do.  I'm going to try for 1 craft a week to post on here.  If anybody happens to come across this, and would like to give me some hints on how to get started, I would greatly appreciate it.  This week I made baby M a onesie out of a Michelin Man T-shirt.  it has to be one of my fav things I"ve ever made.  I'll try to get a pic up soon.  I'm working on 3 quilts, & 2 jackets at the moment, so hopefully I can get those knocked out soon.
